article : How To Get A Healthy Penis by Warren Peterson

When you keep your penis healthy and your body as well, you get far greater erection strength, penis size volume and sexual stamina. This leads to greater sexual satisfaction when making love.

A healthy body in general gives you more self confidence, endurance and a general feeling of well being. Your penis is naturally part of your body and when you start treating your body with respect by maintaining or starting a healthy lifestyle, your penis will reap the benefits too.

When men age, their levels of the male hormone, testosterone, gradually diminish starting at age 30 and then continuing to do so at a rate of 10 percent every 10 years.

Testosterone is a hormone that helps maintain sex drive, sperm production, pubic and body hair, muscle, and bone. So the consequences of a lower testosterone slowly show as a man starts to age.

In general, men who start to experience Hair loss, Bone loss, Sweating and flushing, irritability, Fatigue, Loss of physical agility, Increased fat, Aches and pains, Sleeping problems, Depression, Decreased sexual drive and performance may be suffering from lower testosterone levels.

So, when trying to maintain a healthy and vigorous penis should start to consider the following health and lifestyle options:

Stop smoking. Smoking constricts blood vessels and leads to a build of plaque in the arteries that supply blood to the penis. This results in diminished erectile function, shrinkage of the penis, and impotence later in life.

Avoid liquor and drugs. Alcohol and narcotics puts you in great risk of impotence or erectile dysfunction.

Start a healthy, well-balanced diet. To ensure normal erectile function, you need to keep the continuous flow of blood to the penis by taking care of the arteries that supply it. Consume a high fiber diet, low in saturated fats and you can be sure to prevent or reduce the build up of fatty deposits that narrow and clog arteries. Stay away from animal fats, sugar, fried or junk foods.

Begin an Exercise program. Exercising is good for your overall health. Try brisk walking, running, cycling, or swimming for at least 30 minutes a day, three times a week.

Take supplements. Certain vitamins and minerals are good for maintaining general penile health, such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Chromium, Zinc, and L-arginine. While certain herbs such as Ginkgo biloba, Ginseng, Damania, Sarsaparilla, Wild yam, Saw palmetto, Dong quai, Gotu kola, Hydrangea root, and Pygeum, are known to be particularly helpful for weak erections or impotence.

Use your penis. Maintain a healthy penis and prostate circulation by having regular erections and ejaculations. Thus either have regular sex (it̢۪s good for you apart from being fun) and if you are single, masturbate.

You too can have a healthy penis if you start giving yourself the gift of a healthy lifestyle.
